October is National Down syndrome awareness month! My dear friend,
Lisa, participated in this year's "Buddy Walk" sponsored by the National
Down Syndrome Society in honor of her niece, Chloe. Every year Chloe's
family designs special t-shirts for "Chloe's Buddies" to wear while
they participate. The shirt designed for this event was a super hero
theme. Therefore, the design represented the t-shirt. I also heard
that each one of Chloe's Buddies received a pink cape to wear for the
walk :D How cute is that?! That is why we incorporated a pink nail as
well.
