Love and Lace

 

Valentine's Day is just around the corner so I HAD to do an easy hearts and lace tutorial!

You can use any color combination you like.

The only tools you'll need are your polish, a toothpick, and a striping brush. Dotting tool is optional. A toothpick, the end of a bobby pin or small paintbrush will work just fine as well.

Hearts and Stripes

Here is a simple design using a simple technique.

Start by painting all your nails, except your middle fingers, 2 coats of a gray polish.

I used Sinful Colors "Slate".  Then paint your middle fingers 2 coats of a black polish.  

 I like N.Y.C. "Black Lace Creme" 119A. 

Using a striper tool make 2 thick black stripes on your ring and pointer fingers.   Then use a dotting tool dipped in white polish to create a heart on your middle fingers. 

Don't forget your top coat!  This is a simple, yet cute, design that I really enjoy <3
