Abstract Nail Art Series: Design #2- Abstract Spirals

Design #2 in my abstract nail art series is this amazing spiral pattern! No stamping, just a simple freehand design. You may decide to only do an accent nail, or get an elegant effect on all your digits. It's easy and not as time consuming as it looks.

Colors I used:
Base color is butter LONDON in HRH
Contrasting color is Sally Hansen Golden-I

For my base coat I used Sally Hansen Double Duty
Top coat: Sally Hansen Dries Instantly (It really does! Less than a minute and you're all set to go!)

Abstract Nail Art Series: Design #1 Abstract Lines

I'm starting an abstract art series!  Here is the first design, abstract lines.  This is an excellent design for beginners because it does not take a steady hand at all!  You can be as messy as you want and still get a great look.  All you need are your favorite colors of polish and a striping brush!
Be creative and enjoy!

Colors I used:
Bongo Off the Chain
Pop Art Fashion Forward
Pop Art The Painter
Kiss Nail Art Paint in White
Kiss Nail Art Paint in Black
Kiss Nail Art Paint in Silver Glitter

Falling Glitter Nail Art

This design is extremely simple yet elegant.  Great for prom, homecoming, or even New Years!  Use any colors you like!  I love the effect of the glitter, especially over the black polish.  Furthermore, it takes very little time to accomplish this look.  I hope you enjoy it!

Down Syndrome Awareness Nail Art

October is National Down syndrome awareness month! My dear friend, Lisa, participated in this year's "Buddy Walk" sponsored by the National Down Syndrome Society in honor of her niece, Chloe. Every year Chloe's family designs special t-shirts for "Chloe's Buddies" to wear while they participate. The shirt designed for this event was a super hero theme. Therefore, the design represented the t-shirt. I also heard that each one of Chloe's Buddies received a pink cape to wear for the walk :D How cute is that?! That is why we incorporated a pink nail as well.

I hope you enjoy this design!

Visit www.ndss.org for more info on Down syndrome and the "Buddy Walk"!
